Have you heard of Kidology?! I learned about this brand new indoor playspace about a month ago on Facebook and decided to check it out with Terri, the mom behind the Facebook group Mom Socials, this week. It was so great to explore the space and hear all about it from the owner herself, Luba. We had a little crew of 5 year old girls (plus an adorable 8-month old baby brother) in our group, and all of the kids had a blast!
Playgrounds and indoor playspaces are some of our favorite things around here, and this one was definitely a hit. Charlotte (my 5 year old) couldn’t wait to tell Henry (my 6.5 year old) all about it when he got home from school today. And since I feel like I ALWAYS get questions asking me how different places compare to others, I’ll just give my take here! It’s a bit of Playpad Bucks, We Rock the Spectrum, and Kids Empire … all rolled into one and condensed into one room. If your kids enjoy any of those spaces, I think they’d have a great time here.

I’d say the crowd favorite was the super wide slide (we fit two moms and I think three little girls on there at one time!) that goes into a shallow ball pit. (Think just enough balls to make it really fun, but not so many that kids are getting buried, have trouble moving about … or you wonder what’d lurking under there.) The slide reminded Charlotte and me a lot of the big pink slide that we love at Kids Empire since it’s super fast and fits multiple people, but it’s not quite as tall. Still really fun, but not as scary!

There’s also a cool twisty tube slide (with a window, which I loved because it keeps it from being too dark/scary for little ones) and two different paths for children to climb through to reach the top level.

Outside of the ball pit area, there’s a trampoline that can fit about three kids at a time, an adorable little “carousel” (it requires a parent or child to push keep it spinning), and lots of big bouncy balls and ride-on bounce toys.
On the other side of the room, there’s a mini town stocked with toys and costumes for imaginative play. There’s a little kitchen, blocks, and more. There’s also a large net swing, toys like a sit n’ spin, and even a baby/toddler play structure with tiny swing and slide.

The Details:
Ages:
Kidology is geared for kids 0-8 years old. Personally, I think 3-7 is the ideal age. They’ll be able to do everything there and won’t lose interest quickly. This is a GREAT spot for multi-kid families and playdate for mixed ages. Since it’s all contained in one room, all the kids can have fun and adults can supervise everyone really easily. Parents are also encouraged to join in and play with their kids!

3 HOUR PLAYPASS – $14/per child + tax ($5 discount for siblings) Children under 2 are free!
10 VISIT MEMBERSHIP – $115/per child + tax
5 VISIT MEMBERSHIP – $65/per child + tax

Everyone must wear socks. There are cubbies for shoes and other belongings.

Location/Hours:
Kidology, Inc.
928 Jaymor Rd
Unit C-150,
Southampton, PA 18966
Kidology is located in Southampton (there’s also a location in Philadelphia) and offers open play every day of the week. The current schedule is Monday through Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (Weekend hours are subject to change based on birthday parties and other event bookings.)
Birthdays:
YES! You can have birthday parties here! In fact, Owner Luba Love was telling us all about how she has a birthday party booked coming up that will be making use of both the indoor playspace as well as the parking circle directly behind the building. (The main parking is in the front.)

As you can see in this picture I took out the door, there’s a circle back here as well as a grassy hill. The family throwing the party is planning to have a water slide on the grass and a food truck in the parking lot. Kids can go back and forth between the indoor and outdoor entertainment! Such a cool idea and an awesome alternative to the usual birthday party options.
As of 6/8/23, birthday parties are priced at $450 for 3 hours of private play. This includes up to 12 kids (additional kids are $10 each). Ages 1 and under are free. You can bring your own food at no charge.
Call 215-330-4116 for more information or for any bookings.
Website:
You can find out more about the different service Kidology Inc. offers at their website kidologyinc.com. Please note that they’re working on updating the website to provide more information concerning the playspace (particularly the Southampton location). Much of the current website focuses on child development services such as speech, occupational, and physical therapy.

Overall Impression:
This new playspace is definitely worth checking out if you have kids under the age of 8. It’s bright, clean and cheerful with activities that kids that like both physical and imaginative play would enjoy. It’s on the smaller side, so I don’t think it would be as fun if there were more than 15 kids there at a time, but I don’t think that will be an issue (at least not right now as word is still getting out!) It’ll be perfect on hot summer days or cold winter days when you’re looking for a nice indoor option for kids to get their energy out. And I LOVE it as a birthday party spot. It’s also a really great location to organize a playdate with some of your friends. There are chairs and stools handy for parents to sit and chat while easily keeping an eye on the kiddos. I can definitely see us going again!
