If you have kids that are home on October 31, you might be looking for fun things to do before the big event at night! Here’s a list of things that are going on/open during the day on Halloween in Bucks County or within an hour or so drive. Plus, a few trick or treat events and evening activities if you’d rather do that than go out in the neighborhood!

An all-day spooky movie marathon! A schedule of the movies is as follows:

Halloween Fun Friday! at Richboro Be Well Bakery & Cafe
884 Second Street Pike, Richboro from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Themed crafts, games and more. Free to attend, parents are just encouraged to buy something from the cafe to support the event.
Halloween Bash at Romp n’ Roll
2856 W. Moreland Road, Willow Grove from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Bring the kids in costume for crafts, games, activities and activities in the gym plus yummy treats. Tickets include a pack of 20 Trick or Treat cards (free class) to pass out to friends that visit you on Halloween. Tickets are $30 for Members and $35 for NonMembers. Find out more HERE.

Preschool Explore! Halloween at Southampton Library

Storytime and craft from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Geared toward children ages 3-6. Before or after the event, check out the Story Stroll through Tamanend Park featuring the book Creepy Sheepy by Lucy Ruth Cummins. It’s a self-guided tour that includes activity prompts.
Rhythm Babes at the New Hope-Solebury Library
93 West Ferry Street, New Hope from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Come for 30 minutes of clapping, moving, signing, bouncing and playing! Ideal for babies and toddlers under 24 months.
Costume Parade at the Langhorne Library
301 Pine Street, Langhorne
Come for the Costume Parade at 11 a.m. This library is also a favorite for its play area, Penn’s Little Village.
Halloween Scavenger Hunt at the Warminster Library
1076 Emma Lane, Warminster, All day event
There are 13 pumpkins you will need to find throughout the library. Beware, there are decoys meant to trick you!
Pick up a scavenger hunt form at the Information Services Desk. Once you find all 13 pumpkins, bring the form back to get a spooky prize!
Trick or Treat on Mill Street in Bristol Borough
Mill Street, Bristol Borough from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Walk Mill Street visiting shops and restaurants for some treats!
Trunk or Treat at The Learning Experience of Lawrenceville
4126 Quakerbridge Road, Lawrenceville from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Open to all. There will be a costume parade, truck or treat, candy games and more.
Trunk or Treat at Newtown United Methodist Church
35 Liberty Street, Newtown from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
If you’re looking for an alternative to neighborhood trick or treating, this is a fun free option! Trick or treating, cocoa, cider and cookies. Open to all.
Howell Farm Corn Maze
17 Valley Road, Lambertville from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Visit the corn maze at Howell Living History Farm. $12 for ages 13 and up, $10 for ages 5-12, under 4 is free.
Family Fall Weekend at Needle Creek Farm Brewery
91 Titus Mill Road, Pennington from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Pick your own pumpkin patch, corn maze and hay maze, farm animals, apple cider donuts and s’mores by the fire pits, food trucks and seasonal craft beer in the taproom and beer garden. Free parking and free entry.
Canal-O-Ween in Yardley
When: Sunday, October 28 through November 4 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: N. Edgewater Ave/Canal Towpath between Fuld Ave and Afton Ave. Free parking is available on the corner of Fuld and Morgan Ave.

Take a walk along the canal while viewing hundreds of carved pumpkins! Highly recommend going to dinner at one of Yardley’s great restaurants on Main Street before or after.

Pumpkinland at Colonial Gardens
745 Schuylkill Road, Phoenixville from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Have fun checking out and taking pictures in Colonial Gardens’ colorful Halloween display with cartoon characters, scarecrows, pumpkins and more. Take a daytime hayride through friendly woods ($8) or explore 3 mazes ($4).
Hellerick’s Family Farm
5500 N. Easton Road, Doylestown from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Hellerick’s Farm offers over 40 activities included in their Adventure Farm tickets. There’s a hay ride, corn mazes, hay bale slides, playground areas, pumpkin racing, huge slides, and more. Tickets are $14.99. Children under 2 are free.
Screamin’ Green Hauntoween at Crayola Experience
30 Centre Square, Easton from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Crayola Experience is celebrating the season with Halloween-themed crafts, a spooky scavenger hunt, photo ops and more. For an additional fee, you can also create Halloween-themed Crayola light-ups.
Styer Orchard
97 Styers Lane, Langhorne from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If you’re looking for a farm experience without the frills, head to Styers. You can pick apples or pumpkins, take a hayride, shop their huge variety of pumpkin and squash … and you only pay for what you bring home. Admission and rides are free. This is also a great spot if you want to take some pictures without paying admission like so many of the other farms nearby. Styers is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Grab lunch or treats from the Market on your way out.
Morris ArBOOretum
100 E. Northwestern Avenue, Philadelphia from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Take a walk around Morris Arboretum and enjoy more than 30 scarecrows along the Scarecrow Walk. This year’s theme is “Cartoons.” Be sure to take pictures with the Morris Pumpkin Cottage!
Brick or Treat at Legoland Discovery Center
Plymouth Meeting Mall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Legoland Discovery Center is celebrating Halloween with special themed decor and activities. See the Halloween themed 4D movie – The Great Monster Chase. Make a Halloween themed build in the LEGO Master Workshop. Create a LEGO pumpkin for the pumpkin patch, and more!
Terhune Orchards
330 Cold Soil Road, Princeton from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Visit the animals, get a treat from the market (I recommend the apple cider donuts and cider slushee), and play in the tractor playground. You can also pick pumpkins and apples.

19 Riverside Drive, Camden from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Experience Fintastic Fall Days at Adventure Aquarium! Discover glowing gourds in the shapes aquatic animals! Explore among glowing sea creatures, discover underwater pumpkin carvers, and embark on a search for illuminating surprises waiting around every corner.
