Sure, the night of October 31 is the main event, but if you’re like my family, you like to get your trick or treat on well before Halloween night. Get more wear out of those Halloween costumes, have fun, and stock your sugar stash for months at one (or more!) of these trick or treat events in Bucks County and nearby. I’ll keep adding to this list as I see more events posted, so you might want to save this post and check back often!

The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular At Sesame Place
When: Sept. 17 – Nov. 6
Where: Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne

Trick or treat around the park, enjoy Halloween-themed shows, and go on a scarecrow scavenger hunt. The characters are dressed in costume, and there’s a special parade, too.
Franklin Fright at the Franklin Institute
When: Weekends in October
Where: Franklin Institute, Philadelphia
Trick-or-treat your way through the museum, and experience classic live science shows performed alongside special guest Gourd’n the Giant Pumpkin Robot in an immersive Halloween-inspired environment.
Boo at the Zoo: Elmwood Park Zoo
When: Saturdays and Sundays from Oct. 8 – Oct. 30 from noon to 3 p.m.
Where: 1661 Harding Blvd., Norristown
Come in costume and bring your trick or treat bag. There will be activity and treat stations throughout the zoo. There will also be a costume parade at the bison stage every weekend at 2:30 p.m.
Lower Makefield Halloween Costume Party
When: Friday, October 7 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: LMT Community Center, 1550 Oxford Valley Road, Yardley
DJ dance party with arts and crafts and a costume contest. Admission is free. Snacks available for purchase.
Boo at Bolton: Food Truck Fest & Trick or Treat
When: Saturday, October 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Historic Bolton Mansion, 85 Holly Drive, Levittown
Trick or treat from noon to 2 p.m. (or while supplies last). There will also be vendors, food trucks, moon bounces, face painting and more.
Boo at the Zoo: Philadelphia Zoo
When: Sat. Oct. 15, Sun. Oct 16, Sat. Oct. 22, Sun. Oct. 23, Sat. Oct. 29 and Sun. Oct. 30 from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Where: 3400 Girard Avenue, Philadelphia

Visit the animals while you trick or treat around the zoo.
Boo Bash at the Y
When: Friday, October 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Doylestown, Fairless Hills and Quakertown YMCA locations
Free evening of outdoor fun and Halloween-themed activities! Crafts, music, games, and trick or treating. Open to the public. No registration required.
North Wales Action Karate Trunk or Treat
When: Friday, October 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 122 N. Main Street, North Wales
Open to the public, but if you pre-register, you can receive an Action Karate goodie bag with shark tattoo and shark candy.
Lower Southampton Halloween Fun Day at Playwicki Farm
When: Saturday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: 2350 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville
Come in costume for the children’s costume parade and trunk or treat. There will also be a pet costume parade, music, crafts, vendors and more.
Green Parrot Trunk or Treat
When: Saturday, October 22 from noon to 3 p.m.
Where: 240 N. Sycamore Street, Newtown
Call 215-504-7277 if you’d like to reserve a parking space to participate as a candy trunk. There will be prizes for costumes and the best decorated trunk.
Trunk or Treat at Willow Grove Baptist Church
When: Saturday, October 22 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 3600 Welsh Road, Willow Grove

Halloween Car Show and Trunk or Treat
When: Saturday, October 22 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Falls Township Community Park, 9061 Millcreek Road, Levittown
Halloween themed car show with lots of classic and cool cars decorated for Halloween. There will be trunk or treat, a costume contest, auction baskets, and more. This event is in the parking lot right by the playground, so kids can play there too.
Fall Festival at The Shops at Valley Square
When: Saturday, October 22 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: 1501 Main Street, Warrington
Come out for food, music, activities and trick or treating! There will also be an outdoor movie starting at 7 p.m.
Action Karate Trunk or Treat
When: Saturday, October 22 at 5:30 p.m.
Where: 1800 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville
Free event open to the public. If you’d like to get a free Action Karate goodie bag, make sure you preregister.
Drive Thru Trunk or Treat Presented by Lower Moreland Township
When: Saturday, October 22 from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Where: Lower Moreland Township Public Works Site, 3901 Heaton Road, Huntingdon Valley
Trick or treat from the comfort of your car. Participants must stay in their car as they stop at the various trunk stations. Enter on Heaton Road (instead of Byberry.) If you can, bring a food donation to support Philabundance.
Halloween Party at We Rock the Spectrum NE Philly
When: Sunday, October 23 from 10 a.m. to noon, noon to 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 12357 Academy Road, Philadelphia
Register by calling 215-904-6280 for one of 3 sessions. Come in costume for playtime, activities and trick or treating with local vendors and businesses. $25 per child and $20 per sibling.
Tricks and Treats at Pennsbury Manor
When: Sunday, October 23 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Where: 400 Pennsbury Memorial Road, Morrisville

Kids can trick or treat around the site. Watch a recreation of the 1683 with trial. Help press cider, enjoy fall crafts, and more. This is a free event.
St. Frances Cabrini Trunk or Treat
When: Sunday, October 23 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills
Free event, open to the public but they are asking you to sign up ahead of time. Visit Facebook to do so.
Newtown Township Halloween Parade and Trick or Treat
When: Tuesday, October 25 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Newtown Township Admin Building Parking Lot
Children ages 3-6 are invited to join a parade and visit the Police, Emergency Services, Public Works, Administration, Codes & Zoning, Parks and Recreation, and the Tax Office. Bring a bag to collect goodies along the way. This event is free, but pre-registration is required.
Trick or Treat at the Ballpark
When: Thursday, October 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: 1 Thunder Road, Trenton
This is a FREE event at the Trenton Thunder Ballpark! There will be trick or treating on the suite level, costume contest, a Halloween movie playing on the ThunderVision Big Board, and photos with the Thunder mascots. Concessions will be available for purchase. You must pre-register HERE. Tickets for the 4:30 and 5:30 time slots are already “sold” out.
Bristol Township Trunk or Treat at Lower Bucks Hospital
When: Friday, October 28 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Where: Lower Bucks Hospital Parking Lot, 501 Bath Road, Bristol
Dress up in your costume for an afternoon of fun. Trunk or treat from decorated vehicles. There will be games, prizes, music and more. Free admission.
Trick or Treat at Keller Williams Newtown
When: Friday, October 28 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Where: 12 Terry Drive, Newtown
Indoor trick or treating stopping at each decorated office. Dudes With a Truck Moving & Junk Removal will be handing out pumpkins while supplies last. Free and open to all.
Compass Fellowship Trunk or Treat and Movie in the Park
When: Friday, October 28 from 4:30 to 6:30, Movie at 7 p.m.
Where: 50 N. Pennsylvania Avenue for Trunk or Treat, 400 N. Delmorr Ave for Movie, Morrisville
Candy, music, bounce house, face painting. Then watch the movie “Coco” in the park.
Trunk or Treat at Burns Auto Group
When: Friday, October 28 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: 194 Lincoln Highway, Fairless Hills
Come out for free candy and prizes for the best costume and best decorated car.
Trunk or Treat at The Abington Club
When: Friday, October 28 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 300 Meetinghouse Road, Jenkintown
Trunk or treating, moon bounce, fire pits with s’more kits for sale, plus a chili bar and adult beverages. Bring blankets and chairs to watch Hocus Pocus 2. Admission is free for Members and Camper Families. $25 per family for Non-Members. Register HERE.
BHS Drama Club Trunk or Treat
When: Friday, October 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Bensalem High School teacher parking lot
Trick or treating, face painting, crafts and dancing. Open to all kids ages pre-K through 8th grade. $3 entry fee for all kids. The movie “Halloweentown” will be showing, so bring lawn chairs or blankets. Park in the student lot.
Trick or Treat Event at the Levittown Walmart
When: Saturday and Sunday, October 29 and October 30 from noon to 4 p.m.
Where: 180 Levittown Center, Levittown
Collect candy, wrap a mummy, color, and more.
Tractor Treat at Styers
When: Saturday, October 29 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Get the kids dressed up and you’ll go for a walk around the corn field where there will be tractors, trucks, and other cool equipment with candy at each one. Go on a free hayride, too! Kids will also get to pick a free small pumpkin from the little patch.
Trunk or Treat at Core Creek Community Church
When: Saturday, October 29 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: 1110 Langhorne Newtown Road, Langhorne
Face painting, bounce houses, balloon making, hot dogs, popcorn, games, trunk or treating, and more!
HatOber Fest: Hatboro’s Annual Halloween Stroll
When: Saturday, October 29 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Where: York Road from Summit Avenue to Horsham Road
Take a stroll while trick or treating at participating stores. (There will be a sign in the store’s window.)
Grace Point Trunk or Treat
When: Saturday, October 29 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: 592 Washington Crossing Road, Newtown
Open to all! Come in family friendly costumes, nothing gruesome.
Middletown Athletic Association Trunk or Treat
When: Saturday, October 29 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Trunk or Treat at Restoration Church
When: Saturday, October 29 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: 401 Pinewood Drive, Levittown
Free trunk or treating, crafts, prizes for costumes and more! There will also be funnel cake, popcorn, hot apple cider. The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown will be playing every 30 minutes.
Bristol Borough Trick or Treat on Mill Street
When: Sunday, October 30 from noon to 3 p.m.
Where: Mill Street, Bristol Borough
Trick or treat at local businesses.
Spooky Fun Halloween Party at Playpad Bucks
When: Monday, October 31 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 860 Town Center Drive, Langhorne
Decorate trick or treat bags and then trick or treat around Playpad. There will also be a costume parade, snack and drink, 2 hours open play and a visit from Marshall from Paw Patrol. This event is $35 per child ($30 for sibling) and you must register in advance. Attendance is limited.

Light the Night with The Salvation Army
When: Monday, October 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 215 Appletree Drive, Levittown
Games, trunk or treat, cotton candy, popcorn and more. Open to the public. Free family fun.
