Sure, the night of October 31 is the main event, but if you’re like my family, you like to get your trick or treat on well before Halloween night. Get more wear out of those Halloween costumes, have fun, and stock your sugar stash for months at one (or more!) of these trick or treat events in Bucks County and nearby. I’ll keep adding to this list as I see more events posted, so you might want to save this post and check back often!
The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular At Sesame Place
When: Select dates now through November 1
Where: Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne
Trick or Treat path back by Splashy Shores, do a Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt, see the Halloween shows and parade, and visit with characters in Halloween costumes. Fair warning, there are only about 6 stations. But there’s plenty of other seasonal fun! There’s also a Halloween costume contest on October 31.
Boo at the Zoo: Elmwood Park Zoo
When: Saturdays and Sundays from Oct. 3 – Nov. 1 from 10:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Where: 1661 Harding Blvd., Norristown
Come in costume and bring your trick or treat bag. There will be activity and treat stations, live entertainment and music. Boo at the Zoo is included in zoo admission and free for Yearly Members.
The zoo also offers Trick or Treat Night October 30 from 5:30 to 8:30. Each child ticket includes two free adult tickets.
Boo at the Zoo: Philadelphia Zoo
When: Saturdays and Sundays from October 3 though November 1 from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Where: 3400 Girard Avenue, Philadelphia
Visit the animals while you trick or treat around the zoo. There will also be seasonal decor, festive fall offerings, children’s activities and more. Keep an eye out for more than 24 giant Home Depot skeletons invading the zoo! And get an amazing view of fall foliage from the 10-story Pherris Wheel!

Trunk Or Treat at The Learning Experience
When: Saturday, October 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: 8829 New Falls Road, Levittown
Dress up in your favorite costume and bring the whole family for candy, games, popcorn, refreshments, and more! Cost is $10 per family (up to 4 people) and all proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Joseph A Schumacher Fall Festival
When: Saturday, October 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: 901 Bellevue Avenue, Croydon
Fun for the whole family with a car show, free trunk or treat (from noon to 2 p.m.), food vendors, craft vendors, and more! All proceeds benefit Joseph A Schumacher Foreign War Association.
North Wales Action Karate Trunk or Treat

Trick or treat from noon to 2 p.m. (or while supplies last). There will also be vendors, food trucks, moonbounces, balloon art, face painting, and more. There will also be kid-friendly ghost tours of the mansion.

Meet at the lawn of the Bucks County Admin Building to parade down Pine Street onto E. State Street. After the costume contest, there will be trick or treating at stores and restaurants throughout town. (They’ll have orange and black balloons outside.) Tricks and Treats at Pennsbury Manor

Where: 400 Pennsbury Memorial Road, Morrisville
Kids can trick or treat around the site, learn about history and even sit in on a “witch trial.” Help press cider, see animals, enjoy fall crafts, games, and more. Free admission!
Inspiring Synergy’s 7th Annual Trunk or Treat
When: Sunday, October 25 from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

A fun, family-friendly afternoon of costumes, candy, music, and community! Kids can trick-or-treat from creatively decorated car trunks in our lot, snap cute photos, and show off their costumes. All ages welcome.

Families are invited to trick or treat through the luxury suites, which are all decorated for the holiday! There are typically some other games and giveaways, they play a Halloween movie on the big screen, and you can purchase food if you like.
